I couldn't imagine being in such an intimate relationship with someone and thinking that they may not want to be with me if we didn't bring someone else into our family. Having friends and companions is very important to our well-being, however the type of companions we associate with will rub off on who we are. Reference: v.20 He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (NIV Bible)
The verse I have chosen from Proverbs chapter 5 today is a little bit raunchy. But it should be the hope we have for every relationship. Reference: v.19 A loving doe, a graceful deer - may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love. (NIV Bible)
I'm not sure whether it's just my generation but it seems that as time goes by we tend to move further and further away from those we know.
