It was one of the few times I had felt some element of hatred towards someone. Reference: v.17 You have wearied the Lord with your words. "How have we wearied him?" you ask. Forgiveness can be challenging to give to someone who has wronged us, but sometimes it is more difficult to forgive ourselves. Reference: v.21 They said to one another, "Surely we are being punished because of our brother. We saw how distressed he was when he pleaded with us for his life, but we would not listen; that's why this distress has come upon us." (NIV Bible)
