In 2008 Linda Bailey moved to the northern suburbs of Melbourne in the hope to plant a church. With a small team of people they launched a church in the new housing estates of South Morang, due to unforeseen circumstances this had to fold in May 2010.  Linda now works as the breakfast radio producer for the Christian radio station LightFM in Melbourne Australia.  Listen in, you will hear her from time to time.

Prior to moving to South Morang Linda was in ministry in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  During this time she was involved in Children's Ministry, Young Adults Ministry and oversight of weekly services.  She was one of the first State Primary School chaplains in Victoria as she pioneered a relationship between the local school and church. 

Through the overseas development organisation International Needs, Linda has spent time each year in the Philippines, leading short-term mission trips and supporting the native church planters.  During this time she has been able to meet her sponsor children and assist their families.  She initiated a partnership between her previous Australian church and a church plant in a provicial area of the Philippines.

Linda has completed a Bachelor of Arts (psychology), a Bachelor of Theology and an Advanced Diploma in Ministry. 

She is married to Cameron and they have a teenage foster daughter, Joy. Bailey Family here.  Linda loves taking photos of creation, as you can see by the photos on the website. 

Throughout her faith journey Linda has treasured the wisdom she has learnt from the Bible.  Applying it's guidance does not always make life easier however it can bring us closer to an understanding of God and who He has called us to be.
